The design of MBS lives up to the name as an iconic structure of Singapore. We decided to check-in earlier than the stated time and was surprised by the queue for checking in too. One of the staff will start asking us some of the details and advising us what documents are needed for the check in before reaching the front desk, facilitating the queue. Front desk staff was really friendly, making small talks and jokes. Nobody leads me to the room and my room key cards couldn't open the door, so I have to make my way down and exchange the cards. This is probably the only hiccup I faced.
Two cards were given and required for the access to the infinity pool and gym. Room is too normal, no wow factor but rather spacious (which I quite love). We booked the room facing the Gardens By The Bay. View was ok because we were given a room at the lower level. DO NOT remove any item from the fridge unless you intend to pay for it as there are sensors for all the item in the fridge.
The infinity pool is absolutely wow. No wonder it is rated so highly. So highly raved that the crowd was no joke either. Even though there are a lot of pool lounge chairs, we still have to wait around for seats. In the morning, the water is cooooooold.

We went for the facilities at the gym, that includes hot pool, sauna and steam room. The hot pool is exceptionally welcoming after the open wind at almost 60 levels and aircon. The staff at the gym are very receptive despite us looking like two kiddos. So much like kiddo that they wanted to check our nric (only above 18 yro allowed). *abashed*
If you are able to wake up early, do go to the jacuzzi in the morning and watch for sunrise. It was quite an experience.
Verdict - Infinity pool and services are top notch. The room is conventional (could be different for other rooms). We wouldn't mind going MBS again if its not for the price we have to pay.
