D'Kranji Farm Resort

Foremost, I believe to have a better experience for a stay at D'Kranji, you should have a car to use for the days you are staying there. There are a number of farms clustered around, ranging from vegetables to goats to fishes and so on. Since you are gonna make a trip to one of the ulu parts of Singapore, you might as well visit some of the farms to make your trip more worthwhile, donchya think so? Some farms offer shuttle buses but you have to catch the timing and such. I personally love the goat farm because I got to buy some fresh goat milk!

For those who worried about their meals (like me), fret not. Just next to the resort is a prawning farm (for some night time activities) and Chinese restaurants that sells pretty damn good la la (clams) bee hoon. The resort gave us a basket of complimentary food that includes a bottle of wine, bread and some other stuff that I can't remember.

Now, to the room. It feels... dingy. There are too many plants around (therefore more insects). I have to walk around the room with slippers because it feels kinda dirty even though there are not much walkable floor area. The "balcony" that's supposed to be for chilling overlook some greenerys and occasionally when a gust of wind comes by, you will catch a whiff of chicken shit smell. In the morning, we found a centipede on our bathroom floor.

I cannot comment on the services as I did not have any communication with the staff.

Overall, this place is worth a try if you want a unique farm stay staycation.
