It was newly opened when I had a staycation there on February 2013 with renovations and touching up on the exterior on-going. No cafe or restaurant was available at that time but complimentary breakfast is being provided now! And they still provide complimentary soft drinks at the lobby.
We got the loft room and gosh, the room is SO SMALL even though it is the second biggest room available. Below is a photo of the stairs leading to a queen-size bed, completed with a narrow table that has a flat screen TV and that's all. This is the only decent photo I have of the room. I need a wide lens camera to take a proper photo of the room.
The hotel had worked their best to provide the most they can with the limited space. A tiny wardrobe with a coffee machine tucked inside, a humble side table and one person sofa on the first floor. The toilet is a teeny weeny little bit bigger than the airplane toilet and the shower is separated, facing each other. It is impossible to open both doors at the same time. Oh, wi-fi is available too!
At the roof top, there is an outdoor swimming pool that is of a decent size for two people. If both people tries to do laps at the same time, they are bound to crash into each other.
All these being said, it is undeniable that The Daulat is humbly small. Nonetheless, this hotel gives me a sense of coziness from the moment I stepped in. The front desk was really friendly and made us feel comfortable. This place is worth a try!
