Deevana Patong Resort & Spa, Phuket

Deevana Patong is conveniently located at the heart of Phuket - Patong, and walking distance to a street full of seafood restaurants and the busy night street.

Security lacks here. We did not lose anything but we had several encounters where we requested for an extra room key and easily given one, no question asked, no verification required.

Rooms at Garden Wing is pretty ideal for group and we had 20 people for this trip. Below is a picture of how the Garden Wing looks like. We get our fair share of nature, including kittens and mosquitoes. Yes, kittens. We had to light up two mosquitoes repellent coils outside our room every night. Anything anyone do outside can be heard clearly.



I went around to look at a few different rooms and realized all rooms have different layouts. Some rooms have their wardrobe inside the bathroom and some are single beds. Shampoo and soap are mounted to the wall. TV was surprisingly small and old-school.






Breakfast was mediocre. I am unsure how much the room costs but chances of coming back here is near to zero.

I had posted a similar review of Deevana in Tripadvisor and received a reply from the management. To be fair, I decided to share the reply here.
Many thanks for your recent feedback. We appreciate all guests’ comments and continually strive to provide the best service we can. I am truly disappointed that you have unpleasant experience as you have mentioned and would like to offer my sincere apologies. I am also glad to hear that you liked the room and hotel location.
Mosquitoes - we do hold pest control twice a week by in-house engineer and 4 times a month from outsourced company. 
Cats - since hotel is an open area so cats can come across from neighbors around us. We do seriously with this issue as some guests like but some guests don't which we do understand but it is hard to control. What we have done is to invite a veterinary to sterilize cats in the hotel to control cats population every year and put the sign to suggest our guests not feed them. 
Lack of security for extra keys - basically our front office team has a system in place of security checking but this time it won't be happen with you. We have shared to front office manager to look into this and improve it shortly. 
Your feedback is extremely important to us and I have discussed this with our team. We will definitely work towards improving and have put in corrective measures to overcome the issues mentioned.
I do appreciate the fact that the management response to reviews. It makes me feel that they make the effort to improve themselves. For clarification sake, I do not consider this as an unpleasant experience.
